Honest Charlie powered

Take a look at this advertising... it's damn good! Plenty more at justacargal.blogspot.com

take a look at the other 20 or so: http://justacargal.blogspot.com/

1973 Javelin AMX advertising

Dodge; for the hard driving man... right advertising meassage, 10 years too late

1974 Ford Pinto advertising, they sure went overboard on trying to convince the reader it was as wonderful as Henry's pioneering success, the Model T

1974 Ford Mustang II Mach 1... what a waste of design and advertising

"the best news from Detroit in 9 1/2 years" really? What a gross overstatement. Obscenely ridiculous... what drugs were those advertisers doing on their lunchbreak?

Muntz ad 1974

The best ad gets it's point across in the simplest convincing way, this is the best I've read in a long while

1970 Plymouth Rapid Transit Brochure located in the 1969 Oct Hot Rod... love this Barracuda

Thanks to East Side Richard! I have more Roth to share with all of you! More Weirdo shirts, Mysterion, and a paper doll ad

Thanks to Richard! See his cool East Side coverage of hot rods, drag races, and great photography at http://backstreetwheels.blogspot.com/For more Roth cool stuff see:http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/07/revell-advertisements-of-ed-big-daddy.htmlhttp://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/07/most-obscure-probably-never-seen-or.html

The most obscure, probably never seen, or totally forgotten advertising of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth

I hope you other Roth fans are getting a huge charge from these Update: Oct 8, 2009.... look at this post for more! http://motorcycleart.blogspot.com/2009/02/millar-roth-and-robert-williams-patches.html

The Revell advertisements of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth

Above, Tony Nancy and Tommy IvoNotice that Carroll Shelby is the last judge for this modelling competition, the other judges are like a who's who of racing icons, Dean Moon, Tommy Ivo, Tony Nancy

More of Big Daddy Roth's t-shirt and sweater ads, these are 2 from 1963, the others from around 1968-69

The 2nd one names the shirts "Weirdo" shirts, and that was the earliest way of referring to this fad... I'll have another post about the later 50 and earliest 60's Roth "Weirdo" shirts Many more after the link: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/search/label/Roth

A couple of the last of Ed Roth's t-shirt and sweater ads, they don't show up after 1970 in Hot Rod magazine

For the best ones: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/06/ed-big-daddy-roth-advertisements-from.html the ones that had more in the ad to entertain the readerhttp://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/07/ed-big-daddy-roth-t-shirt-advertising.html not too bad either

1968 Harley Davidson advertising

The Dodge Scat Pack bee

Carroll Shelby advertising you've never seen.

Shelby rims... and tires? Never heard they were made! I bet if anyone has these they are highly prized! What? What the hell? Muscle car specialist? Not what I consider Carroll, not for a minute. Sports car hero for sure, the Cobra, the 65 - 66 GT 350, the Shelby Viper.... these are what is is most instantly known for, but not muscle cars.and more: http://justacarguy.blogspot.com/2009/05/

ridiculous use of sexy models to sell rims, mufflers, and car parts.
