The 2010 MAZDA3 uses a new 2.5-liter version of this engine, the L5-VE, with 170 horsepower and 167 lb-ft of torque. That engine will probably replace the MAZDA5's 2.3-liter engine in future model years.

Interior comfort is provided by 12V power outlets in front and rear and an automatic climate control. The 2008 Mazda5 also has air conditioning with second row cool air vents with fan- speed controls and pollen filters which make it user- friendly. An instrument panel displaying clock, audio, A/C, and outside temperature is also available. Meanwhile, a tilt and telescopic steering wheel and leather- trimmed seat upholstery with heated front seats make this new model unique and stylish. Furthermore, it also comes with Bluetooth hands- free phone system and an expansive 70.9 cubic feet of storage.
